Zoom platform

We are using Zoom for all BMC online seminars.

(There is no purchase requirement to use Zoom.)

We ask that you comply with the following parameters to maximize our ability to connect as a group as we meet for this online series.

  • Use Zoom on your computer or iPad/tablet (phone app is not suitable)
  • Have a reliable internet source
  • Participate from a quiet, well-lit location
  • Use ear buds or headphones (they will cancel out a lot of extraneous noises and you'll be able to hear better, too)
  • Please make sure you know how to:
  1. Use the Zoom Chat Room (we do use this feature - you can privately or publicly chat. Please make sure you know the difference)
  2. Use the raise hand and lower hand feature (if you have a question or comment, you'll be able to use this feature)
  3. Remember to mute and unmute yourselves
  4. Use the thumbs up or clap emoji so you can respond to questions or express appreciation.
  • Lastly, please make sure you are using the latest update of Zoom!
