BMC Director

These 3-hour online seminars will focus on components of the IMI and various topics related to the interpreting process, cross-cultural communication, social justice, and more.

Some sessions are in ASL and some in spoken English. IMI Seminars conducted in ASL are open to anyone comfortable learning and holding discussion in ASL. These seminars are designed for both working and student interpreters (Deaf, Coda, hearing). There are no prerequisites for this program. Please choose accordingly.

These seminars are offered at a reasonable cost. But BMC has committed to reduced rates for Deaf, BIPOC, and student interpreters. We are using the honor system for these scholarships.
