Sharing our R: Unpacking our Formative Experiences

Sharing our 'R':

Unpacking our Formative Experiences

Registration for this event is now open.

Join us in the first of its kind dialogue addressing the following topics regarding the state of the Sign Language interpreting field. Conversations will be based within the framework of the Integrated Model of Interpreting and how our formative experience, as heritage and native signers, effect our decision making and representation (‘R’) while interpreting.

Please note, this will be limited to 30 participants (10 Deaf interpreters with Deaf parents, 10 Coda interpreters, 10 Deaf interpreters). The registration process will automatically cap each group at 10 participants. Space will max out, please be sure to register early.

Please view the vlog (click on image to open in new window) for further details.
